End of April 2009 Update

The biggest event since our last update is certainly Abi's first birthday on April 5th! We had a great party with family and she had a blast opening gifts and being the center of attention :)

Abi is growing so fast, we can't believe we've had her for a whole year, what a blessing! She has a wonderful outgoing character and we enjoy every moment with her.
She has started to walk, eat table food and is off formula and on whole milk. Next thing we are going to try is to take away her bottles... this will happen VERY slowly though!
She has 7 teeth and she enjoys brushing them every evening. She actually eats the toothpaste off the toothbrush and liks her lips till it's gone.
She is also a very good sleeper, Thank God for that!
She still doesn't have much hair, but we think she is cute anyway.
One last thing about Abi: she does not like baths, she cries till we are done. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Babbo and Mamma's Love

As you can see, my belly is growing fast too. As for today we are 47 days away from my due date. That is less than 7 weeks. We are very very excited for baby # 2 (Zane Micaiah). Everything so far has been good with the pregnancy, another thing to thank the Lord for! I am enjoying my rest for now and I am wondering how mothers with many children do it!!! I can hardly keep up with little Abi.

Life is good here in Kansas.
One day we went to the zoo, with Nana Kathi and Papa Rob. We had such a fun time and the weather was amazing!

Abi LOVES her Papa!

Spencer is enjoying his new job with a Lawn and Tree Care Business.
He is mainly outdoors and he is getting a funny 'farmer's tan'. His main assingment is to spray people's lawns with special pesticide chemicals which kill unwanted weeds and diseases.
He gets up really early in the morning and comes home fairly early too. We are happy he can keep this job untill we leave for the Mission Training Center in January 2010.

By the way, we visited the MTC in Missouri just last weekend. It was a wonderful experience.
We loved the place. It's beautiful with the Lake of the Osarks just outside everyone's doorstep!
It's a gorgeous place to raise kids, and the fellowship seems amazing.
We are very excited to go there, although we realize it's going to be hard work (homework, work detail, raising the kids, just life happening), we can't wait to be there and be trained for our lifetime dream of becoming missionaries.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this.
Next big event? Zane's birth in June!!!!
See ya later!
