February Update

Well, Hello Everyone!

The biggest news since the last time we updated the blog is that now we know we are having a BOY!! His name is going to be Zane Micaiah Bragg. He is due on June 15th 2009, so a little more than 3 months to go. We are very excited to be expecting a boy. The sonogram technician said that everything is going smoothly. He now weighs 1 pound. It's fun for me, Lisa, to buy boy clothes and get ready for the new arrival. I'm doing a lot of nesting!!! A little early, but it's so much fun!

The other BIG news to give praise about is that Spencer FINALLY found a job with a tree and lawn care company. He is very happy, he loves the outdoors, his boss is really nice and the pay is not bad at all. He starts early in the morning at 7am and ends at 3pm. He gets home really early so we also have family time! He loves to give Abi her evening bottle and take naps with her... although she sometimes pretends to sleep (see next picture).

Abi is doing so well! She is crawling all over the place, she can crawl up the stairs, she can stand on her own, she really wants to walk too! She is going to be 1 year old really soon on April 5th. Spencer and I just can't believe how fast time is flying. Abi loves to listen to music, she has her favorite tv shows and favorite foods. Oh, oh, she is calling me right now and saying "Mamma, I am hungryyyyyy!" Well, it comes out as "Aaaaaaahhhhhh!", but I know what she means. I'd better go.

PRAISES AND PRAYER REQUESTS

1. PTL for the new job for Spencer!

2. PTL for the wonderful sonogram result for Zane.

3. PTL for all of Abi's progresses.

4. Pray for patience while we wait to go on with the missionary training in Missouri.

5. Pray that we may grow as a family, learning to have lots of quality time together.

6. Pray for our financial situation in view of the missionary school fees that will be coming up.

7. PTL for the wonderful church we attend (Metro East Baptist Church in Wichita Kansas) and all the lovely people there who care for us and who are fully backing us up in our decision to become missionaries.

8. PTL for the amazing lunch that the church here organized to raise funds for our missionary future. We are so grateful.

9. PLT for Spencer's parents who are offering their home for us to live, great company for us and especially Abi, complete family support for our decisions and most of all LOVE!
