Oh! Oh! Sunscreen...

So here is the story...

Today we went to Uncle John's Apple Orchard in St. Johns, MI

(apparently many other people had the same idea)

and it was DEADLY hot and sunny, so being a new mom I was all worried about baby sunburn and such, THEREFORE, I got the baby-sunscreen out and SMEARED my poor little frail and unguarded daughter with a massive amount of it,

practically all over her, even her face and her hands...

well, she got sunscreen in her eyes...

"oh! oh! SUNSCREEN"

but she took it like a trooper and coughed a little,

rubbed her eyes a little and then smiled

and here is what the rash looked like

So we left our wonderful company - young marrieds Sunday School

- and headed back earlier than expected.

Exhausted, she slept in the car and slowly the rash dissapeared.

.. and here she is telling me "All gone, Mommy, all gone!"

...and she was even willing to take a bath.
What a good girl!
